Digital Media Education is our Mission. Media Literacy is the capacity to access, understand, evaluate and produce communication and information in a variety of forms.

Media literacy is the process of understanding and using media  in an assertive, interactive, and critical, non-passive way. This involves an understanding of the nature of mass media, the techniques used and the impact of these techniques on consumers.

Our media instructors and advocates are highly skilled and experienced with a variety of media-making tools. All of our instructors have over 10 years experience teaching digital storytelling workshops in corporate and classroom settings. We work with filmmakers, photographers and writers to offer training packages in media-art and film production.

We have coordinated Film Festivals for the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and coordinated Community LORE's multimedia events.

Media education is an ideal means for enhancing staff training and team building at work retreats. Our workshop curricula promotes inclusion and creates space for an evolving work culture and linguistic corpora
